Engagement

I am a little behind on the times in the sense that I have taken quite a few weeks to update that I got engaged to William-Francis Dos Santos on December 21st.

He is a little bit of a trikster because I was under the impression that we were going out for dinner to celebrate that he had finished his exam the day before and was now free from school work for the next 6 months. To say the least he showed up at my place with two dozen red roses and whisked me off to a snowy dinner in Fort Langley. I had never been to the Lampliter before and it was a wonderful experience. We were one of 2 couples in the restaurant that evening and yet it felt like we had the place to ourselves because we could neither hear nor see the other couple. We had a table overlooking the falling snow and the Christmas lights and after a fabulous dinner William pulled out a ring over dessert and asked me to marry him.

I said yes!

I can't wait to marry him on October 17, 2009.
