Coming to a close

So I am almost done working at Van Belle's nursery. 3 1/2 more days and that's it! I am quite ready to be finished with the manual labour aspect of the job, but I will miss the girls that I have been priviledged to get to know. Four of us are getting together tomorrow night outside of work......just to have some fun playing games and going for coffee. We get to wear real clothes! None of this, big and baggy, hair under a baseball cap, steel toe boots, elastics around wrists and rubber gloves. We've been joking that we might not recognize eachother so it's a good thing we chose a small coffee shop.

So yes, work is coming to a close but that does not mean I will be slacking off for the rest of the summer. Work ends Saturday and my teacher training begins the following Wednesday. I am not getting too excited for that quite yet (it feels a bit surreal) because I am still working. I think I need the one to end before I can focus on the next.

These 9 weeks have gone by fast yet slow. I think I am ready for the end, but like I said, there will be people I will miss. Maybe I'll post pictures of them in the next few days so you know who I am talking about.
