Presentation

Alright......one big a** presentation down and 16 more big assignments left! Whooo hooo! You wanna hear about the half hour pres? Of course you do!

Picture this. White girl, almost 24 years old, reddish hair, the odd freckle, sitting shaking in her 5'4 frame in her seat, waiting to give the longest solo presentation of her life. She was prepared to start the class (as she was supposed to), but ended up having to wait through an hour of lecture, which gave her more of an opportunity to get nervous.

Finally it was her turn. She stands up with her jump drive in her right hand, and a twisted paperclip in her left. (for details on the paper clip one must watch Maid in Manhatten, though she's not sure it actually did any good except to serve as something she could play with for the half hour in front of her peers)

The beginning was a bit shaky, (as anyone would agree) because she had to stop, ask for a moment, take a deep breath, lick her lips again, and then continue. Thankfully for the girl, her first powerpoint was a success, she stopped stumbling over her words 29 minutes in, and she is done that presentation now for forever!
