God
Without a cliche, how do I see God?
Without other people's words, how do I feel God?
Another word problem...
I see God in the lives of societal imperfections,
handicaps, poverty, pain, struggles.
I sometimes see God's distress,
His pain and anger at our world, His world.
I see his forgiveness and gentle touch,
which is ever present but not always seen.
I feel God as a reassuring hand on my shoulder.
A trip on the stairwell or street to get me to laugh, or get off of myself.
A hug or tough from someone I love so that I can cry and be released.
A gentle reminder that I am beautiful in His eyes.
I want to see and feel God more then I see and feel this world.

it's a hard thing, seeing God more than the world, but it's a battle worth fighting! God will open your eyes more and more, all you have to do is seek. Isn't God AWESOME! I love him!
Wow, great poem. I had no idea you wrote! What a good idea for you to have a blog and share some of your gold with us... keep it up!
