Ya know, I just really love the island.....or maybe its just any island. I spent the weekend in Victoria and Nanaimo, and I had a great time. Maybe it was the company, or perhaps it was the island living. I will not try to analyze this, because I think it might and probably was a combination of both. I went to support my friend Sherri for her first Photography show. She did such a fabulous job, and put so much time and effort into making it professional and spectacular. I had no idea what a show like this entailed until I was helping her with bits and pieces of things.
It was nice to be able to relax for a time too. We hung out with a few friends on Sunday and meandered around a playground and the sea wall. It had been a busy Friday and Saturday, and then Sunday was the day to let down.
Being away from home, having a change of scene, it always seems like a good idea every once in a while.
